About Plasma Soft Surgery

The plasma treatment is used to stimulate the fibroblasts and repair the surface tissue. Fibroblasts are the major cells in connective tissue that produce collagen and other fibers in the skin. These fibroblasts are responsible for maintaining the structural integrity of connective tissues.   

The probe is held above the skin and a tiny plasma arc connects the tip of the device to the surface of the skin. This process recreates collagen type I, the collagen we have in abundance when we’re younger. As we age, this is replaced by collagen type III, a loose and unorganized collagen.  

Using plasma waves, the old collagen is removed by sublimation (evaporation), and fibroblasts are stimulated to produce new collagen.   

Typical social down time is 7 days. You will see immediate tightening but because it takes time for your body to increase collagen production, you will notice gradual improvement with your most optimal results after 60-90 days.

Plexr Shower FAQ

  • The Plxer Shower treatment will take approximately 40-45 minutes after numbing.

  • You can expect to feel a sunburn sensation on the treatment area for the next 24-36 hours. You may feel tiny, scale like scabs on the skin when you touch it. These are not usually very visible and will heal / fall off in 3-5 days. You can wear makeup 24 hours after treatment.

  • Plexr Shower is a better option to use when you have mildly loose skin, or skin that needs texture / tone rejuvenation.

    This is a great option for anti-aging maintenance to achieve desired results.

    We recommend a Plexr Shower treatment every 1-3 months for maintenance.


  • Initial cost is $250 and includes skin care product of choice; thereafter treatments cost $130 when skin care products are brought in each treatment. Treatment frequency recommendation is every 3-5 weeks to start and maintenance every 3 months after 5th treatment or as requested.

  • Use SPF! Wash and pat dry the face the next morning. Apply product as specified by your Balanced Beauty and Wellness provider.
